THE PREDICTION OF THE SPRING RUNOFF FORMATION BY THE METHODS OF MATHEMATICAL AND CARTOGRAPHIC MODELING (IN THE CASE STUDY OF THE URAL PRIKAMYE TERRITORY)

Short Description

The project involves the study of the spring runoff formation of the Ural Prikamye riversbased on the  methods of mathematical and cartographic modeling. The fields of meteorological elements derived from the accounts of the mesoscale model WRF-ARW will be used asinput meteorological data in mathematical-cartographic model. The maximum water reserves definition in snow cover will be performed on the basis of the model data on winter precipitation taking into account melting during thaws. The use of predictive fields of meteorological elements will allow to forecast the inflow of melt watersinto the rivers basins for the period of 2-3 days.
